Context

The tracking-system work involved logistics APIs and delivery workflows for Posten and Bring Express contexts. The system category is state-heavy: packages move through multiple operational states, locations, pickup flows, and notification boundaries.

Work Performed

  • Built tracking-system and API capabilities for sent-package tracking and delivery workflows.
  • Worked with home-delivery ordering, PLT pickup, pickup codes, and delivery notifications.
  • Used Python, ArcGIS, and Neo4j-oriented data modeling to support location-aware and graph-backed logistics behavior.
  • Focused on reliable API responses and clear customer-visible package states.

Engineering Notes

Logistics tracking is a distributed state problem. The customer sees a simple status, but the backend has to reconcile location data, scan events, pickup constraints, delivery windows, and notification timing.

Outcome

The work contributed practical experience in logistics APIs, event/state modeling, location-aware systems, and backend reliability for customer-facing tracking workflows.
